The Liverpool Running Bugs is a friendly and very social running club based in East Liverpool, Huyton, and whilst we have members of all types, ages and abilities, we have one thing in common - we have all got The Running Bug.

The club is open to anyone who wants to run and have fun - we organise two training sessions each week - a Tuesday session that has a focus on speed, and a Thursday session that has a focus on a longer steadier run - all abilities are welcome to both sessions. We also have social runs during the week, and at weekends we are all regular faces at one of the many local park runs or races.

If you are looking to join a running group this year, then feel free to get in touch with us - we are a growing club and welcome new members each week; we can be contacted on email, facebook or call us for a chat about attending one of our sessions. Please see our contact page for details.

Our membership for 2019 is now open and we are really excited to be able to welcome so many new members to our little running community - we are so much more than just a running club, we like to think of ourselves as a community of runners who like to train, run, race and have fun together.

The cost of membership is very low, and we only charge a token £12 membership for the year, and all of this money goes towards the cost of operating a club and providing the best possible support for our members.

We welcome everyone who loves running - whether you are fast, or slow - we are building a reputation as being one of the most friendly and supportive club in the area. Visit our membership page or download the membership form here.

What ever your running ability, Liverpool Running Bugs cater for everyone. Please visit our Coaches & Groups page to see our pacing guideline, this should help you decide which group best suits you. For details of our training sessions, go to our Training days section, to see a breakdown of a typical training week.

Please join us on any of our training days for a free taster session.

“The magic of the group is that each time one person takes a step up, everyone else follows suit”.
