Member Guidance
No matter your running ability, Liverpool Running Bugs accommodates everyone. Below is the structure of our club training groups, along with a pacing guideline to assist you in selecting the group that best fits your needs.
Group 1
Training Guidance
Tuesday session distance: 7.5 - 8 miles
Pace guidance for 10K: Sub 42.30mins,
(Sub 7min/mile approx).


Group 2
Training Guidance
Tuesday session distance: 6.5 - 7 miles
Pace guidance for 10K: Between 42.30 - sub47.30mins,
(Between 7 - sub8 min/mile approx).
Group 3
Training Guidance
Tuesday session distance: 6 - 6.2 miles
Pace guidance for 10K : Between 47.30 - sub52.30mins,
(Between 8 - sub9 min/mile approx).


Group 4
Training Guidance
Tuesday session distance: 5 - 5.5 miles
Pace guidance for 10K : Between 52.30 - sub57.30mins,
(Between 9 - sub10 min/mile approx).
Group 5
Training Guidance
Tuesday session distance: 4 - 4.5 miles
Pace guidance for 10K : Between 57.30mins - 1hr 8mins,
(Between 10 - 11min/mile approx).


Group 6
Training Guidance
Tuesday session distance: 4 miles
Pace guidance for 5K : Sub 35mins,
(Between 11 - sub12 min/mile approx).
Group 7
Training Guidance
Tuesday session distance: 3.11 miles (5k)
Pace guidance for 5K : Between 35 - sub 40mins,
(Between 12 - sub13 min/mile approx).


Group 8
Training Guidance
Tuesday session distance: 2 - 2.5 miles
Pace guidance for 5K: 40mins and over,
(Over 13 min/mile approx).
