No More Knives 5 Mile Race
On the 12th May 2019, Liverpool Running Bugs will be hosting the No More Knives, 5 mile race. This free to enter run has been held to in memory of Adam Ellison, who was subject to a knife attack in Prescot and tragically died in November 2017.

Courses
The 1 mile Kids course consists of a single laps around the parks lake.

The 5 mile course consists of 2 laps around two out of the four quadrants of the park; West View and Tushingham.
​
Registration
Numbers and entries can be found at race HQ near the start and finish line.
Parking
​
Access onto the park is at various entrances around the perimeter. The main free, parking is on Ellis-Ashton and Fallows Way roads and also at the Village gym.
​
Prizes
​
There will be limited goody bags for race finishers and also spot prizes will be handed out to selected lucky individuals.
​
Finishers prizes are awarded to the first three male and female runners in the 5 mile race.
​
Prizes are awarded to first place finishers of the kids, 1 mile race.
​
Number Bonus
​
In addition to the prizes and good bags, the Village gym have kindly opened their doors to all who produce a race number, giving you access to all of their facilities on race day. Further to this, the award winning deli restaurant, Brunch, are offering free refreshments to entrants, again race number needed to qualify....yum!

Photo's will be taken on the day by our official photographer Mick Hall, and will be available for download after the race.

At the heart of the race is our community. Liverpool Running Bugs support local causes, which include the ADAM foundation, who strive to raise awareness of knife crime as well as keeping Adam Ellision memory alive. If you feel you could help in their campaign then please download the sponsorship form and help raise funds with your friends and family.

Lyndale Cancer Care is based in Huyton. The charity helps support the families and friends of people suffering from Cancer. They are a small organisation doing great work and always welcome much needed donations.
​
Further donations can be made on the day and will be equally split between the No More Knives and Lyndale Cancer Support charities.
